The custom Darkglass 2-band active preamp offers three modes: Clean (Preamp-only), Alpha (Distortion), and Omega (Fuzz), all without the hassle of plugging into a pedalboard. Switch between these circuits effortlessly with an eye-catching LED ring and 3-way selector. You’ll unlock total tonal control via volume, treble, and bass adjustments, along with onboard gain and blend knobs for customized distortion. A roasted maple neck and ebony fingerboard round out the modern design.

CUSTOM DARKGLASS ACTIVE PREAMP

They have ramped up the StingRay sound with a custom Darkglass clean 2-band active preamp, featuring two drive circuits: Alpha (Distortion) and Omega (Fuzz). Both circuits are fully mixable via an onboard gain knob and blend control.

EYE-CATCHING LED RING

Smash the 3-way switch, and a bright color-coded LED ring illuminates, indicating which mode the bass is in. When in preamp-only, the bass is exceptionally clean, with adjustable volume, treble, and bass knobs for customizable tone.

The iconic DarkRay design includes an alnico humbucking pickup, roasted maple neck with ebony fingerboard, comfort contoured StingRay body, and the familiar 3+1 headstock configuration.
