The Westwood Translucent Overdrive is a powerful pedal capable of adding light to medium gain, taking your trusty low voltage amp from the edge of breakup rhythm tones, to an articulate, singling lead tone which is stacked high with pleasing even-order harmonise and plenty of sustain. This pedal features plenty of output on tap and responds to the variation in guitar volume and pick attack. Use its drive control to dial in everything from a near-clean boost or rich, bell-like jangle and chime, all the way to distinct, cutting leads. Adjust the treble to tame single-coil pickups or lift humbuckers and add an open, airy sparkling high-end. Experiment with the bass control to tighten the low end of dark sounding guitars, or soften the attack and create a tube-like sag with a woody, organic bottom end thump.
