This beautiful Translucent White Stratocaster has been built by revered guitar luthier, Stuart Monks.  He has over 40 years experience, having been trained by Roger Giffin, toured as a guitar technician for bands such as Be Bop Deluxe and Marillion, been a master builder for the boutique Wal bass brand and worked for various top name musicians up to and including Brian May. 

Dubbed a ‘Partscaster’ as this is guitar is not from the Fender factory, Stuart has chosen all Fender or branded parts.  Much of what makes a guitar feel good, bad or indifferent is down to when it’s first built.  The way the neck is fitted into the pocket will determine how well the whole instrument resonates from the bridge all the way up to the top of the headstock.  Stuart is second to none in this regard. Plus, benefitting from a proper luthier setup, the guitar plays significantly better than ‘factory’ guitars costing many times the price.  

The 10-way selector switch (2 rows of 5) gives this guitar sounds not normally associated with a Strat making it incredibly versatile too.  We firmly believe you won’t find another Strat-style guitar at this price point that plays or sounds as good as this one.

Fender Vintera Ash Body

Built with the same body wood that is used on Fender’s Vintera Series, this guitar maintains a balanced tonal array that captures the dark, mellow tones that you might find on a classic Blues record whilst also providing a bright, snappy sound that can be heard on different genres such as funk or rock.

10-Way Pickup Selector Switch (Freeway 5B5-01)

Fitted with a 10-Way pickup selector switch, this guitar provides an outstanding level of tonal versatility. Featuring two banks of 5 positions, the lower bank of 5 positions provides all of the classic pickup combinations we know and love – but the upper bank contains the missing parallel combinations (neck + bridge) & (neck + middle + bridge) as well as offering all three pickups in series together, offering higher output tones not normally associated with a single coil loaded Stratocaster.

Deluxe Mexican Fender Neck

A 9.5″ radius, a ‘Soft V’ shaped neck profile, and 21 medium jumbo frets provide you with a vintage-styled neck but with a modern playing feel.
